Venice Gondolier Endorses
Ron Smith!

Ron got a nice boost to his campaign as the Venice Gondolier endorsed him over his opponent while saying he is the best prepared candidate.

The paper cited Ron’s service as lead negotiator for Venice Unites in its efforts to modify the city’s land development regulations.

The editorial said, “As that process played out, we were impressed that a potentially contentious issue never became one, largely due to Smith’s determination to build a bridge between the two sides rather than drive a wedge between them.”

The paper also said Ron has done a “deeper dive on a number of issues.”
