Ron Smith files for City Council Seat 2

In the wake of his successful efforts with Venice Unites to initiate negotiations for changes to the city’s land development regulations, Ron Smith is gearing up for a second run at a City Council seat. Taking the initiative, Smith officially filed the required paperwork on Monday to challenge Dusty Feller for Seat 2, which is being vacated by Dick Longo, the elected representative who stepped in last year to fulfill the remainder of a resigned Council member’s term in 2021.
